ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION
Account & Subscriptions
Questions about account setup, subscription access, configuration updates, and device changes. Get account details and subscription content from the user panel to avoid mixing in outdated configurations from unknown sources.
Do I need an email address to create a VPNWO account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username that is easy to recognize but not reused on other websites, and store your password securely. After registration, access plans, clients, and subscription pages from the user panel without waiting for email confirmation.
Where can I find my subscription after purchasing a plan?
Sign in to the user panel, then open Overview or Client to view your current subscription and import options. Keep the subscription content intact when copying it: do not delete parameters manually or share it publicly. If an older subscription is already imported, update it instead of creating multiple configurations with the same name.
How do I update the subscription link in my client?
Find the subscription update option for the current configuration in your client, run the update, and wait for the route list to reload. If nothing changes, copy the subscription again from the user panel and replace the existing configuration. Confirm that you are signed in to the correct account before updating, then select a route again and reconnect.
Do I need to purchase another plan when I change devices?
No. VPNWO supports simultaneous use on unlimited devices. The same account’s active subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. When switching devices, get the client and subscription from the user panel and import them on the new device—there is no separate charge based on device count.
How should I protect my username and password?
Because accounts use a username and password, store your login details in a trusted password manager and avoid reusing the password with other services. Subscription content is also account information and should not be posted publicly or forwarded to unrelated people. If a configuration comes from an unknown source, stop using it and submit a ticket through the user panel.
CONNECTION / DIAGNOSIS
Connections & Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot connection issues in this order: local network, system permissions, subscription status, and selected route. Change one condition at a time so you can identify where the problem occurs.
What should I check first when the client reports a connection failure?
First confirm that the device itself can access the internet, check that the system clock is accurate, and verify the network permissions required by the client. Then update the subscription, switch to another route, and reconnect. If no route connects, close any network tools that may conflict and submit a ticket with your system, client, and selected route details.
Why can my browser connect while a particular app cannot use the proxy?
This is usually related to the client’s operating mode, system VPN permissions, the app’s own network settings, or traffic-routing rules. Confirm that the client is connected, then check whether the target app is excluded from proxy coverage. After changing the mode, fully quit and reopen the app so it does not continue using the previous network path.
What should I do if I cannot reconnect after switching networks?
When a device switches networks, the previous connection may retain outdated routing information. Disconnect VPNWO first, confirm that the new network can access websites on its own, and reconnect. If it still fails, update the subscription and switch routes, then check whether another network tool left behind a connection profile.
What should I do if the client stays stuck on Connecting?
A persistent Connecting status usually means the handshake has not completed. Disconnect manually, verify the system time and network permissions, then switch routes and reconnect. Avoid clicking Connect repeatedly in quick succession, as this can leave multiple pending requests. If restarting the client changes nothing, note the platform and route name and submit a ticket.
ROUTING / PERFORMANCE
Speed & Routes
Route performance is affected by the local network, exit region, target service, and current connection state. Choose routes based on your actual use and test them instead of comparing route names or relying on a single metric.
How should I troubleshoot slowdowns during peak evening hours?
First determine whether the issue is local network instability or congestion on an international route: disconnect and test local websites, then reconnect and compare different routes. After updating the subscription, prioritize a nearby route suited to your use case and pause high-volume sync tasks on the device. For video, lower the playback quality as a comparison to determine whether bandwidth or connection stability is the limiting factor.
How should I choose routes for everyday browsing, AI tools, and streaming?
For everyday browsing, prioritize a nearby route with a stable connection. For AI tools, choose a region where the target service is accessible. For streaming, consider both the content region and exit location. Do not judge by the route name alone; open the target service after connecting to verify access. Choose a different route when your use changes rather than relying on one route indefinitely.
Does lower latency always mean faster downloads?
Not necessarily. Latency mainly reflects round-trip request time, so it matters more for web interactions, remote operations, and real-time communication. Downloads and video buffering also depend on available bandwidth, route congestion, the local network, and the target server. Test routes according to your actual use instead of relying on a single metric.
How broad is VPNWO’s route coverage?
VPNWO offers 120+ countries / 190+ routes. Choose a route based on the target service’s region, your purpose, and current connection performance. After the route list is updated, the client may need a subscription update to sync the changes. If the old list remains, re-import the subscription provided in the user panel.
BILLING / REFUND
Billing & Refunds
Monthly subscriptions and data packages use different data rules. Confirm the billing period and data requirement before ordering. To request a refund, submit the relevant order details through a ticket in the user panel.
What monthly subscription plans are available?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Choose according to your needs for browsing, file transfers, video, and use across multiple devices. All monthly plans support unlimited devices and work with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux.
How are data packages billed, and do they expire?
Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. Data packages suit usage that varies over time and users who prefer to pay based on actual consumption. Before choosing, distinguish their billing model from monthly subscriptions and check your account status in the user panel.
When does monthly subscription data reset, and what happens if I upgrade mid-cycle?
Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date rather than on the first day of the calendar month. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days. Check your current plan and remaining balance in the user panel before upgrading, so you do not mistake the reset date for a fixed month-start date.
How can I request a refund, and which payment methods are supported?
VPNWO offers 60-day refunds without requiring a specific reason. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket page, and provide the relevant order and refund request details. Follow the instructions in the ticket afterward. Supported payment methods currently include Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT; verify the plan, data allowance, and account details before payment.
