Before you begin
Before starting setup, confirm that the current device can access the VPNWO user panel normally. Prepare a username you can remember long term and a strong password. VPNWO does not require an email address, so your username is an important identifier for future sign-ins. Check the spelling before submitting, and store your credentials in a trusted password manager to avoid entering the wrong account details after placing an order.
For the first setup, it is best to complete the entire process on one regularly used device. After verifying the connection, add the same subscription to other devices. VPNWO supports unlimited devices online at the same time, but systems handle network permissions, background activity, and configuration imports differently. Confirming the subscription on one device first makes it easier to separate account, client, and system-permission issues during troubleshooting.
This page covers only the main path to getting connected. Protocol differences, route types, complex network troubleshooting, and long-term maintenance are explained in the complete guide. For sign-in, order, or connection errors, go directly to the Help Center instead of researching every technical option during initial setup.
Create an account and enter the user panel
Open the account creation page and fill in a username and password as prompted. Choose a username that is easy to recognize but does not duplicate one used for another important account. Avoid using the site name, username, or common sequential characters in your password. VPNWO does not require an email address, so you can sign in with your username and password after submitting the form without waiting for email confirmation.
If the page opens the user panel after submission, the account has been created. Check the username shown at the top of the page or in Account Overview before choosing a plan. If the form remains open, look for field messages such as an invalid username format, mismatched passwords, or an existing username. Do not submit repeatedly; correct the flagged field and try once more.
If account creation returns you to the sign-in screen, use the username and password you just set. After entering the panel, do not copy a sample address or look for configuration files elsewhere. Your actual subscription details will be provided by the user panel after the plan order is completed and will be linked to your account.
Choose a plan and complete your order
In the plans section, first choose a purchase type based on how you use data. Monthly subscriptions include data that resets each month. Available tiers are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. If you later upgrade, the system converts the price difference based on the remaining days, so there is no need to choose the highest tier when your needs are uncertain.
The other option is a permanent, non-expiring data package that remains available until the data is used. Available tiers are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. This suits users with variable usage who prefer to pay based on actual consumption. Monthly subscriptions and data packages are measured differently, so confirm whether the order card says “resets monthly” or “never expires” rather than comparing only the total data.
After selecting a plan, open the order confirmation page and check the plan name, data allowance, and amount. Then choose an available payment method: Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel, wait for the order status to update, and check the subscription status in Account Overview. VPNWO offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. This page does not cover the refund process; see the Billing and Refunds category in the Help Center for application steps and status details.
If the page does not change immediately after payment, do not create another identical order. Return to Account Overview or the Orders section and check the status again. If you still have questions, submit the order details through the ticket option in the user panel. Once the plan is confirmed active, continue to the next step and get your subscription link.
Get your subscription link from the user panel
Sign in to the user panel and open Account Overview. Once the plan is active, the overview will show subscription details and the related actions. Find the button for copying the subscription link and use it, then remain on the page until the interface confirms that copying is complete. The subscription link is the client’s entry point for retrieving route configuration and is tied to your account status. Do not post it on public pages, in chat groups, or in screenshots.
If a guide needs to show the structure of a link, use an obvious placeholder such as https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. This address cannot connect to VPNWO and contains no real credentials. In practice, copy your own link from the signed-in user panel. Do not copy the example manually or alter any characters in the link.
After copying the link, do not open it in a browser. Give it to the client for the relevant platform instead. A browser may display the subscription content as text or handle it in another way; that does not mean the client has been configured. Keep the link in the clipboard, then open the platform section below for your current device.
If the subscription option has not appeared in Account Overview, first confirm the order status and plan validity. If it is still missing after refreshing the panel, check the Account and Subscriptions section in the Help Center or submit a ticket from the user panel. Do not temporarily use another account’s subscription link, as this can complicate later device and order troubleshooting.
Import into clients on each platform
VPNWO’s client entry points are available in the user panel; the marketing site does not provide static installation packages. Open the download area, choose the client that matches your operating system, and follow the panel instructions to obtain it. After installation, open the main interface. Do not enable the system proxy or change advanced settings yet; initial setup only requires importing the subscription, updating the route list, and starting the connection.
Windows
On Windows, open the desktop client obtained from the user panel. Go to subscription or configuration management, choose Add Subscription, and paste the copied link into the address field. You can use a recognizable VPNWO label as the name. Save it and run an update. When the update finishes, the main interface should show a list of selectable regions or routes. Return to the main interface, choose a route, and use the connection switch to start the service.
When connecting for the first time, Windows may ask you to allow the client to establish a system network connection. Confirm that the client came from the VPNWO user panel, then grant the permissions requested by Windows. If the list is empty after import, return to subscription management and run an update instead of repeatedly adding the same link.
macOS
On macOS, launch the relevant client and look for a subscription, configuration, or remote-configuration option in the menu bar icon or app window. Choose Import from Link, paste the subscription address, save it, and run an update. Once routes appear, select the required region and enable the connection. Some clients place their main controls in the menu bar, so closing the main window does not necessarily quit the app.
When the system establishes the connection for the first time, it may display a network-configuration authorization window. Follow the macOS prompt and then check whether the client status changes to connected. If macOS blocks configuration creation, complete the system authorization first and retry from the client. There is no need to buy another plan or create another account.
Android
On Android, open the relevant client, go to the subscription or configuration page, tap Add, and choose Import from Link. Paste the subscription address, save it, and tap Update or Sync so the route list is written to the client. Return to the home screen, select a route, and start the connection. Android will then request VPN permission; after approval, the status bar will usually show the system connection indicator.
If the connection is easily interrupted after switching to another app, check the system settings for the client’s background activity and battery management. Menu names vary widely between device manufacturers, so this page does not list them individually. Check in this order: confirm that the subscription can update, confirm that VPN permission has been granted, and then check background activity restrictions.
iOS
On iOS, open the client download area from the user panel and obtain a compatible subscription client using the method provided there. In the client, find Add Subscription, Add Configuration, or Import from URL. Paste the subscription link and save it. After updating, select a route and tap Connect, then follow the iOS prompt to allow the VPN configuration to be added.
After system authorization is complete, return to the client and confirm that the connection status has changed. If the import screen offers both QR-code and link options, use the link copied from the panel for this workflow to reduce the chance of exposing subscription information on another device. When changing clients, verify the subscription link again in the user panel instead of typing it from an old screenshot.
Although Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS use different menu labels, the same checks show whether import is complete: the subscription record is saved, the update action runs successfully, and selectable routes appear in the client. Once these conditions are met, proceed to connection verification. If you are stuck at installation, permissions, or subscription updates, use the Help Center to search by platform and visible error.
Connect and verify that it works
After importing, choose a route from the client’s list that matches the target service region, then start the connection. During the first test, do not change multiple advanced settings or switch routes repeatedly in quick succession. Wait until the client clearly shows that it is connected, then open an international website or app you actually need to access and check whether it loads, lets you sign in, and refreshes normally.
Verification has two stages: the client showing Connected and the target service working normally. The first indicates that the local connection process has been established; the second can also depend on the selected region, the platform’s regional rules, and the current network environment. If ordinary websites open but a specific streaming service or AI tool still reports a region mismatch, first switch to a route matching the target region, then fully close and reopen the target app.
You can also disconnect, revisit the same page, reconnect, and refresh it to confirm that the change in network path comes from the client. After verification, keep a route that performs well as your usual choice; there is no need to re-import the subscription every time you start. Importing a subscription adds configuration, while connecting to a route is the everyday action. Treat them as separate steps.
If no route connects, first confirm that the plan is still active. Then update the subscription in the client and check system network permissions. If the issue persists, use the Help Center and troubleshoot in the “Connection and Troubleshooting” order. When submitting a ticket, include the device operating system, the step where the client stopped, and the visible error message. Do not paste the full subscription link into the ticket title or a public screenshot.
Everyday use after setup
Once the first connection has been verified, daily use is simple: open the client, update the subscription, choose a route, and start the connection. You do not need to add the subscription again every time. Copy the link from the user panel again only when changing clients, clearing configuration, or setting up a new device for the first time. When the route list changes, run an update to retrieve the current configuration.
When choosing a route, start with the region where the target service is located, then consider the current connection performance. For everyday browsing, begin with a nearby region. For services with regional content requirements, choose the corresponding region. If a route is temporarily unsuitable for your network, switching to another route in the same region is usually more direct than repeatedly changing protocol settings.
The user panel is the central place to view your plan, data, and subscription status, as well as get clients and submit tickets. Save the correct entry points for the VPNWO marketing site and user panel, but do not publicly sync your dedicated subscription link as an ordinary bookmark. For route types, long-term maintenance, renewals, device migration, and further troubleshooting, continue with the VPNWO complete guide.
Core setup complete
Next time, just update the routes and connect
Once your account, plan, subscription, and client are ready, you do not need to repeat the account-creation or ordering process.
